The Nashville Mini-Maker Faire At The Wondr’y

Nashville’s fifth annual Mini-Maker Faire will be from Saturday, September 30, 2017 to Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 9am – 5pm. It can be found on the EVENTS tab of our Facebook Page and tickets are free this year thanks to sponsors if you go to this LINK.
On previous years, this was always a single day event, but has now been expanded to include an entire weekend and will be held at a new site, on the campus of Vanderbilt University in and around the Engineering Sciences Building, specifically The Wondr’y with parking available in the 25th Avenue Parking Garage.

The Mini-Maker Faire is something unique, somewhat of a cross between science fair, county fair, and science fiction convention! “Makers” of all-ages show off their creations which are absolutely fantastic. They are typically DIY (Do-It-Yourself) type projects like those made by the members of the Middle Tennessee Robotic Arts Society (MTRAS) who typically conduct demonstrations of battlebots in a live cage match and upgraded Power Wheels races!

Take a look at the pics below from our visit in 2015 and be sure to stop by to check out the Nashville Mini-Maker Faire at it’s new location this year!
